About Us

New Life Foundation is a non-profit organization that provides outreach programs for talented and committed young musicians. The foundation will help students grow in an environment where the focus is on outreach, performance and collaboration. New Life Foundation guides young musicians in a musical atmosphere that inspires the members to spread the love of Christ through music and to reach out to local communities as well as overseas. Also, New Life Foundation will provide opportunities and encouragement to underprivileged orphans and young musicians through music camps and competitions.

2026 Fall Audition

Audition – Due September 12, 2026



Each fall, all new and returning students are required to audition for the NLF program.

Please submit your audition video recording to newlifeyouthorchestra@gmail.com and send the $40 audition fee via Venmo @NewLife-Foundation by September 12, 2026.

Audition Requirements:

  • Audition Recording Requirements: 
    •  Strings : One solo piece, two major scales 
    •  Wind and Brass : One solo piece, one scale and chromatic.
    •  Voice: One solo piece. 
    • *** Solos must be under 3 minutes

  • Students will be placed into three groups: 
  • Elementary, Middle School, and High School.

Fall Semester Registration Fees

  • Elementary School: $250
  • Middle School: $350
  • High School: $400


Fall Semester Schedule

The Fall Semester will run from September 26 through November 14, 2026 and will include:

  • 8 Saturday School sessions 9am-12pm, at Covenant Life Church, Gaithersburg MD.
  • NLF Concert on November 14  with the Saturday School students
  • 5 Nursing Home performances (Dates to be coming soon)
  • Participate the Sunday rehearsal who will play for Nursing Home Concert 


Mandatory Participation Guidelines

  1. Minimum of 3 Nursing Home Performances required per student.
  2. Sunday Rehearsal attendance is mandatory in order to perform.
  3. Saturday School Concert:  November 14, 2026 attendance is mandatory.
  4. Music must be submitted to:
    newlifeyouthorchestra@gmail.com
    At least 10 days prior to your scheduled rehearsal.
  5. Students must be fully prepared by rehearsal day; otherwise, their performance will be rescheduled.

This ensures each student is well-prepared to grow musically and serve the community with excellence.

For the Nursing Home performances, students will rehearse their performance music with NLF teachers on Sundays in preparation for each performance. We will send the complete Nursing Home schedule and sign up as soon as all dates and locations are confirmed.


Leadership Opportunities (High School Students Only)

We are offering leadership roles for interested high school students.

Leader Responsibilities:

  1. Attend Zoom planning meetings.
  2. Must participate in 4 Nursing Homes and 7 Saturday Schools.
  3. Leaders are expected to actively participate in all events, assist teachers and students as needed, and complete any tasks assigned by the teachers.
