Sylvia Lim Ms.Sylvia Lim is a senior at University of Maryland, receiving her BM in Violin Performance. She has had coachings with the renowned Arnold Steinhardt of the Guarneri String Quartet. Also, she was selected to the National Symphony Orchestra Youth Fellowship Program where she studied with the assistant concert master of the NSO, Ricardo Cyncynates and played in master classes for Nurit Bar-Josef and Pamela Hentges. Throughout her violin career, she has performed in various concert halls such as the Kennedy Center and the Carnegie Hall.
Along with her accomplished background in music, she has also been experienced in the mission field with her musical talent since 2002. Through this experience she was able to grow spiritually and learn how to share God's love and compassion with others through his powerful gift of music. She is looking forward to building a stronger relationship through God with the NLSE members.
